Danai Kokogia is a film and video game composer based in London, UK.

As of 2025, Danai is composing the hybrid orchestral score for Titan Isles, an upcoming action-adventure game by Psytec Games while also working on the music for an upcoming children’s TV series created by Malou Bonicos (The Beeps, Angels of Jarm). At the same time, she is a Mentor at the Royal Scottish National Orchestra’s Film Composers Lab alongside legendary composers Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter IV, Thor, Sense and Sensibility) and John Lunn (Downton Abbey, The Last Kingdom, Grantchester). During the same year, she was a BAFTA Games Awards Juror in the Music category.

Since 2022, alongside her own work, Danai has been working as a Composer’s Assistant to BAFTA and Ivor Novello nominated composer, David Housden. As part of this ongoing role, she composed Additional Music for the score of Disney’s Illusion Island.

Danai holds a Master’s distinction degree in Composition for Screen from the Royal College of Music where she studied as a scholar supported by the Dennis and Sylvia Forbes Award.
